Guest Masterclass: Zach Miller, drumset

Zach Miller will present a drumset masterclass on May 1st. He has been a professional drummer and teacher living in Minneapolis since 2000. His diverse career spans from touring with recording artists Sara Groves and Jason Gray to performing with the Duluth-Superior Symphony Orchestra. Beyond being a sideman for many songwriters, he writes for his own experimental instrumental projects Morning Zephyr and Put Down The Muffin. Zach supplements that with drumming on and producing albums, teaching as adjunct faculty at North Central University, and taking on the full variety of jazz, pop, and theater opportunities that fall in his lap. Thankful every day to be a musician in this city, he can’t wait to see what the future will hold.
