Housing For All: St. Olaf's Role in Local Living

All are invited to attend the event Housing For All: St. Olaf’s Role in Local Living hosted by the Political Science department.

In the context of rising housing costs, affordable housing has become a pressing issue for communities everywhere. Come listen to the students from Professor Thalhammer’s Courageous Resistance course present research on local affordable housing communities and discuss how St. Olaf can become a better community partner with those who live near the Hill. We will also have a couple of representatives from the local organization Growing Up Healthy, whose purpose is to build a Rice County in which diverse populations are connected and are active participants in creating a welcoming county. Together, we’ll discuss their impactful work and explore meaningful ways to be part of this larger community respectfully.

The event will be taking place in Buntrock 210 at 7 pm on Thursday, November 14th. Please spread the word and join us in shaping better and more equitable housing for all.
