THE OLE EXPERIENCE
St. Olaf Volleyball Camps return to the Hill with new head coach, Alicia Wood! St. Olaf Volleyball Camps are a great opportunity for athletes in grades 3rd-12th to sharpen their skills, learn a variety of techniques, observe our collegiate training style, and develop skills to become strong teammates and leaders. Camps are individually designed for players of all skill abilities from beginner to college-prep. Athletes will work on their individual position specific skills along with 6v6 team play and court cohesion. Our goal is to grow the game of volleyball and while having fun at camp!

Advanced Skills Overnight Camp
Session 1: July 17-19, 2025
Session #2: 21-23, 2025 (FULL)
Ole Advanced skills camp will emphasize position technique development alongside motivational team play and competitiveness. Players will be divided by skills and experience. This camp is designed to prepare athletes for the school season by focusing on volleyball technique and game IQ. Defensive and offensive training will also be included.
This camp is open to athletes entering grades 6-12.

Youth Skills Day Camp
July 24-25, 2025
Youth skills camp is catered to our future Oles and will encompass all of the foundational volleyball skills such as passing, setting, serving, and hitting. Camp staff will also work to develop each athlete on the court through lessons in teamwork, communication, and enthusiasm for the game.
This day camp is open to athletes entering grades 3-6. Camp hours are 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. each day and lunch is included.
MEET THE COACH
Alicia Wood completed her first season as head coach with a record of 19-10. Wood came to St. Olaf after spending the previous four seasons as the head women’s volleyball coach at Illinois College in Jacksonville, Ill. In her final season leading the Lady Blues, Wood was named the 2023 Midwest Conference Coach of the Year after guiding her team to a second-place finish in the regular season and a runner-up finish in the MWC Tournament. Prior to her time at Illinois College, Wood was an assistant women’s volleyball coach at DePauw University during the 2018 and 2019 seasons. The Tigers made NCAA Tournament appearances both seasons and won their first North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Tournament title in 2019.
Wood graduated from NCAA Division II Ursuline College in 2015 as a double major in sports management and business administration with a minor in coaching. She started her coaching career at the high school and club levels in Ohio and Indiana.
