Intended Learning Outcomes
Upon the completion of the program, students will demonstrate:
- Knowledge of the socio-political history that has shaped American Public affairs, including history related to class, gender, and race.
- The ability to understand and evaluate competing normative perspectives and to apply those perspectives to contemporary policy debates.
- Awareness of the moral, economic, historical and religious complexity of public policy debates.
- The ability to engage in respectful disagreement about controversial matters of public interest.
