The Minnesota Worker’s Compensation Act is a statutory, no-fault system of legal rules that provides for certain benefits for employees who are injured on the job or who contract an occupational disease arising directly out of and in the course and scope of their employment activities.
The College provides a comprehensive workers’ compensation insurance program at no cost to our employees that includes medical expense reimbursement, wage loss benefits, vocational rehabilitation benefits, and other benefits.
If you experience or witness a work-related injury or illness, you must tell your supervisor as soon as reasonably possible.
