Martin Luther King Jr. Day at St. Olaf is an opportunity to honor Rev. King’s lessons by carving intentional spaces to engage in discourse around social justice, oppression, community, and social change.
Students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to join in action, activities, and conversation throughout the month of January in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

St. Olaf George Floyd Fellows Gislaine Bassekle ’26 and Duane Bogne ’25, and Student Government Association (SGA) President Zaria Irving ’25, will speak about leadership and their efforts to advance the work that the renowned civil rights leader began some six decades ago..
