Personal care and community safety are the responsibility of all Oles. We’ve compiled this webpage with information on how you can come to campus prepared to best take care of yourself and others.
It is always good to have a collection of care items handy in your residence hall room. Here are a few items to consider packing:
Over-the-counter pain relievers (Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen)
Allergy medication
Hydrocortisone cream
Antibiotic Ointment
Cold & Allergy Medicine
Cough Drops/Lozenges
Antacids
Alcohol-Based Sterile Wipes
Tweezers
Bandages
Gauze bandage wrap
Anything else that may be standard first aid at home
Like other schools, we have transitioned to a new post-COVID “normal” where students are asked to be considerate of others during times of illness. In the interest of public health, please bring masks and COVID tests to have on hand.

While we do not require the full Covid-19 vaccination series, the college highly recommends all community members to be fully vaccinated and boosted.
We experience all four seasons in Minnesota. Make sure you are prepared for:
