Fall Semester 2025 Registration: Tuesday, April 22, – Thursday, April 24, 2025
- Class of 2025 & 2026 register for Fall 2025 courses on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
- Class of 2027 registers for Fall 2025 courses on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
- Class of 2028 registers for Fall 2025 courses on Thursday, April 24, 2025.
All SIS registration holds must be removed prior to registration. Class/lab schedules are subject to change pending any future changes to the Academic Calendar.
- Monday, March 10–Student registration holds will be added in SIS.
- Monday, March 24–(An email will be sent when the link is available.)
- The registration system will be available for viewing so that students can begin planning their schedules and creating wish lists.
- Students may submit prerequisite overrides beginning this day.
- Your registration day and time will be listed at the top of the registration page when you click Fall Registration in SIS.
- Monday, April 14 – Friday, April 18 –Quiet Week for Advising
- Tuesday, April 22 – Thursday, April 24–Registration begins according to the table below and is open until the second day of classes each term. All times listed are Central time.

*Priority registrants, per federal requirements, will always begin their registration time 30 minutes
prior to the other two groups.
Adding and Dropping

Students may add and drop courses in the registration system in SIS until the second day of classes each term. After the second day of the term, instructor permission is required for all adds and drops until the last day to add and last day to drop as noted in the Academic Calendar. Email add/drop requests along with instructor permission to registrar@stolaf.edu.
NOTE: First-year students in their first semester must also provide written advisor approval for all adds/drops.
