What do we do?
Wellness Events
Providing health education is the primary role of the Wellness Center. Each month, Peer Educators host 10-12 wellness health education programs. Details about these events are on Presence!
One on One Support
Have questions relating to your well-being or life? Peer Educators are trained to listen, provide information, and refer applicable resources. Stop by the Wellness Center or request a meeting online.
Peer Substance Coaching
Trained student coaches meet with peers meet to reflect on substance use (alcohol, cannabis, nicotine, other), learn harm reduction strategies, form goals, create plans, and provide support.
Paw Program
Join our weekly one-hour structured dog program where students can sit with, pet, and interact with dogs without leaving campus.
Health Supplies
Students can requests supplies online or stop by the Wellness Center (BC 120) during our office hours for free supplies: chapsticks, condoms (internal and external), menstrual supplies, sleep hygiene supplies, stress fidgets.
Community Nights
This is an opportunity for any and all students to connect with people, build community on campus, and meet new people through fun activities and events, including games, de-stressing activities, conversation, and more.
Print Materials
Our social media account, website, toilet talks, posters, and other educational materials serve the purpose of connecting students to resources in our community. Many of which are avaible for download.
Collaboration Request
Students, faculty, and staff from departments across campus can request a virtual educational presentation, educational content, etc.
TimelyCare
Attention St. Olaf College students! Access to TimelyCare services is completely free for you. TimelyCare offers comprehensive clinical care, advanced technology, and expert guidance to support you. Additionally, free therapy sessions are available for mental health support.

Substance Well-Being
Alcohol and other drugs themes include alcohol norms, alcohol education, substance use, substance abuse, and recovery resources.

Emotional Well-Being
Emotional wellness themes include recognizing positive and negative feelings, coping mechanisms, stress management, communication skills, self-esteem, adjustments to college, homesickness, connection with the community, and balancing responsibilities.

Sexual Well-Being
Sexual health themes include comprehensive sexual health education, risk-reduction around Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and pregnancy, pregnancy resources, sexual identity, gender Identity/Transgender/Gender non-binary information, relationships, promoting a culture of consent, clear communication and honor of sexual limits, and sexual assault resources.
